Last Love’s Plea: Will You Be Mine? | By Debesh Paul
In the tapestry of my life, you came not as the first thread,
But in the fabric of my soul, you became the last, the unwavering stead.
Each beat of my heart sings your name,
In every thought, your essence claims its fame.
To love you, they say, is to dance with madness,
Yet they fail to fathom the depths of this gladness.
Your voice, a lullaby in the quiet of night,
Your hair, a tangled maze, a beautiful sight.
I cherish your clumsiness, your every mistake,
In your anger, I find solace, not forsake.
Your cheeks, like roses, ever blooming and bright,
In your laughter, I find my guiding light.
For me, life without your love is but a hollow shell,
In your embrace, I’ve found where I truly dwell.
I cannot quell this love, so fierce, so true,
In every breath, I’m entwined with you.
So I beseech, with tears in my eyes,
Will you be the one who never says goodbyes?
Promise me, dear love, you’ll never depart,
And forever, you’ll remain, entwined with my heart.
Closing Thoughts:
In the tapestry of love and longing, we often find solace in the arms of those who may not have been our first, but become our last. Through the trials of life and the tumult of emotions, the essence of true love remains unwavering. May we all find our last love, the one who makes our heart sing its final melody.
